Some of the questions we often get asked

Is your honey real?  ABSOLUTLY! All our honey is 100% natural. We do not heat our honey, we do not add anything to our honey! 

Why do you run out of honey? We are not resellers! We only sell what we produce. Our honey and bee products are in high demand and we often sell out before our next years harvest as we are a smaller apiary and maintain around 50 hives. Weather and other environmental challenges are always a factor in our yearly honey yields. As ethical beekeepers,  we also leave plenty of honey for our bees.

Why is your honey different colors? Honey comes in many shades from nearly clear to golden, amber and brown and everything in-between! different flowers not only make various shades of honey, but also different tasting honey!  

Where does your honey come from? All our honey comes from our hives that are residing on organic farms, prairies and fields in Northern Indiana and South West Lower Michigan. 

Seasonal honey flavors:

Apple - Rich, sweet and fruity with notes of apple.

Blackberry - Medium sweet with fruity and floral notes.

Buckwheat - Mildly sweet with the flavor of molasses or sorghum.

Chicory- Medium sweet with notes of coffee, caramel and nuttiness.

Goldenrod - Sweet with notes of butter and exotic spice.

Rose - Sweet and floral with notes of rose. 

Wildflower - Sweet with floral and fruity notes.

Our honey is organic, unheated, unfiltered, raw, and natural. Small specks of pollen and wax may be visible and is normal.

Orders are available for pickup by appointment. 

We also sell our products online and at fairs, festivals and events in the greater Michiana area.
